Lower 3 (Year 6), Upper 3 (Year 7) and Lower 4 (Year 8) Learning Enrichment

On a Friday afternoon pupils in Lower and Upper 3 and Lower 4 take part in a variety of activities throughout the year in order to extend their physical, mental and social skills. These activities will encourage pupils to work as part of a team including developing leadership skills and problem-solving skills outside of the classroom.

Pupils are split into small groups, mixed in age and gender taking into account friendship, social or any other prevailing factors.  Each group will rotate through the activities during the course of the academic year and they will spend 4/5 weeks on each activity.

The activities are currently dry slope skiing at Brentwood Dry Ski Slope, Cookery, Ten Pin Bowling at Hollywood Bowl, self- defence classes, rock school, Dare to Discover and a Walk on the wild side.

By including our Lower 3 (Year 6) pupils we find that this helps the transition from Junior School to Senior School.
