Head of Maths and Statistics

St John’s is a co-educational Independent School for pupils aged between 2 and 16 years. We are proud of our educational provision and offer you the opportunity to join our successful school.
We are looking for an experienced fulltime Head of Department for Maths and Statistics to join a small, supportive department at our friendly school. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching Maths to pupils in KS3 and KS4. The post would involve teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 and Statistics at KS4 in set groups to include teaching the Foundation and Higher tiers. We are pleased to offer small classes of pupils with very supportive parents.
This is a fulltime position, and following a successful probationary period will become a permanent position. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

Part time Cleaner
We are looking to employ a reliable cleaner to start immediately, upon receipt of necessary references and satisfactory searches and checks.
The role would be 3 hours per day (4.30 to 7.30 am or pm) Monday to Friday during term time, with overtime available during the holidays to accommodate deep cleans.
You would be responsible for the cleaning of a set area of the school and duties would include:
- Cleaning a certain section of the school site;
- Washing floors in your designated area;
- Sweeping uncarpeted areas and hoovering carpeted areas;
- Emptying and cleaning bins;
- Cleaning desks, seats and frequently touched surfaces;
- Replenishing of consumables;
- Cleaning windows/mirrors;
- Cleaning of toilets in designated area;
- Checking stock levels for cleaning materials and notifying site staff;
- Reporting hazards and defects to site manager/supervisor.
