Safeguarding

It is essential that pupils feel safe and secure, and we strive to create an environment that enables this.
Every member of staff is trained in Safeguarding, which includes identifying and raising concerns. We follow policies and procedures established by Essex County Council and work in partnership with them and other agencies to ensure children are safe.

Concerns about a child during school hours and during term time:

Parents with concerns about safeguarding should contact one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL):

Concerns about a member of staff should be referred Mr Angeli headteacher@stjohnsschool.net. Concerns about the headteacher should be referred to Mrs Osen bursar@stjohnsschool.net.
