2010 OPEN DAY WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY 9TH OCTOBER
FROM 11AM-1PM
Last year’s Open Day was held on Saturday 10th October 2009
It was a bright and sunny day, the school was bustling with activity and it was a pleasure to meet so many prospective pupils and their parents. We were also delighted to meet many of our current parents who had the opportunity to watch their children taking part in the numerous practical, sporting and extra curricular activites around the School.
Open Days are an annual event when prospective families are shown around St John’s School by pupils, who will happily answer any questions you may have. You will also have the opportunity to view the pupils’ work on show in the classrooms and speak to the teaching staff as you walk around the School.
During the afternoon you will be able to see cookery, musical and scientific demonstrations as well as watch sporting activities on the field.
At the end of your tour you are then invited to join the Headteacher and Senior Management in the Sports Hall where you are welcome to enjoy refreshments, as well as viewing the extra curricular activities being held, including karate, fencing and dance sessions.
Along with the academic staff our Admissions Registrar will also be available to answer any admission enquiries during this time.
If you are unable to attend our Open Day or would prefer to visit during a normal school day, please contact the Admissions Registrar who will be happy to make an appointment for you to view the School during term time.
